Join us for the return of the Run Thorpe Park 5k & 10k on Sunday 1st September 2024. Run around the rides and rollercoasters inside the fantastic THORPE PARK Resort and be first in line to enjoy everything the resort has to offer.
All entries include entry to Thorpe Park Resort for the full day brought to you by the same RunThrough team that organises the popular Run Alton Towers event.
THE VENUE
Reach new heights with Stealth the UK’s fastest rollercoaster launching riders to 205ft at 80mph in just 2.5 seconds. Take flight on THE SWARM the UK’s only winged coaster, or face one of Jigsaw’s most twisted traps with SAW – The Ride the world’s first horror themed rollercoaster featuring a 100ft “beyond-vertical” drop.
Plunge down the super-soaking 85ft drop on Tidal Wave, get drenched on the 64ft spiraling descent on Storm Surge and play splash roulette on the Island’s ferocious Rumba Rapids as you experience the UK’s wettest water rides.
THE COURSE
Starting inside THORPE PARK Resort beneath the rides, the race will be run over a 5k loop, completing two loops of the park before crossing the finish line of the 10k.
The races will start at 8.30am before the rides open to the public. Bring your family and have your very own support team head off to use the rides after your run, come with friends and enjoy a day out or come on your own to meet like-minded people to enjoy a day on the rides
